- Payment information: When you purchase credits or subscriptions, our payment processor (Stripe) collects payment details. We receive only limited information such as the last four digits of your card, card type, and billing address.
- Communications: When you contact us, we collect information you provide in your messages.

- Usage data: We collect information about how you use the Service, including pages visited, features used, and actions taken.

- Provide the Service: Process your presentations, generate redesigned slides and transitions, and deliver results.

- Service providers: We share information with third-party providers who help us operate the Service, including cloud hosting (Google Cloud Platform), authentication (Firebase), payments (Stripe), and analytics providers. These providers are contractually required to protect your information.
- Content generation: Your uploaded presentations are processed by AI services to generate redesigned slides and transitions. This processing is necessary to provide the Service.
- Studios (Teams): If you join a Studio, information such as your name and email may be visible to other Studio members.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or government request, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
- Business transfers: If DirectorDeck is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4. Your Presentations
Processing: When you upload a presentation, we process it to analyze slides, extract colors, generate redesigns, and create transitions. This processing is performed on secure cloud infrastructure.
Storage: Presentations and generated content are stored securely on Google Cloud Platform with encryption at rest and in transit.
Access: Only you and members of your Studio (if applicable) can access your presentations. Our support team may access presentations if you request assistance, with your permission.
Deletion: You can delete presentations at any time through the Service. When you delete your account, we will delete your presentations and associated data, subject to reasonable backup retention periods.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. After account deletion, we may retain certain information as required by law, to resolve disputes, or for legitimate business purposes (such as preventing fraud).
6. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:
- Encryption of data in transit (TLS) and at rest
- Access controls and authentication
- Regular security assessments
- Secure cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform)
No system is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
